Log into\u00a0NEST<\/a>\u00a0using your University NetID and password.<\/p>\n

Navigate to the NEST Dashboard Sidebar ÌÇÐÄvlog<\/strong> and select the 25Live<\/strong> link.<\/p>\n

Find the event you wish to cancel. If you’re not sure how to do this, follow the 25Live User Guide – How to Search for University Events and Locations.<\/p>\n

Cancel an entire reservation (all occurrences)<\/h3>\n

Before you cancel your event, navigate to the Occurrences<\/strong> tab, and verify if wish to cancel ALL of its occurrences.<\/p>\n

If you wish to cancel ALL of your event occurrences, click on the Event State<\/strong> drop\u2010down menu and select Cancelled<\/strong> state.<\/p>\n

\"Event<\/a><\/p>\n

Before your event is cancelled, you will see a pop\u2010up notification, asking you to confirm the cancellation. This action will cancel all dates, space assignments, and support department requests. You cannot undo this action<\/strong>. To cancel your event, click on the Yes<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n

\"Confirm<\/a><\/p>\n

The state of your event will change to CANCELLED<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

You will notice that all your event occurrences are now cancelled and all the locations disappeared or have been released.<\/p>\n

\"Occurrences<\/a><\/p>\n

Related events will not be canceled. To cancel related events, repeat the steps for each event ID.<\/p>\n

Cancel one or some meeting occurrences<\/h3>\n

Navigate to the Occurrences<\/strong> tab, and verify the event occurrences.<\/p>\n

On the event details screen, click the Edit Event<\/strong>\u00a0button.
\nNote, If this reservation is related to another, select Edit Only This Event<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"Edit<\/a><\/p>\n

Scroll to the date and time section and then click the Manage\u00a0Occurrences<\/strong> button found under the interactive calendar. Change the status of the date(s) you want to cancel from Active<\/strong> to Cancelled<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

When finished, Close<\/strong> the window. Remember to enter a revision note with your initials which explains the change you made to the scheduler.<\/p>\n

\"All<\/a><\/p>\n

You can cancel as many dates as you wish.<\/p>\n

Make sure that you save your event using the Save<\/strong> button at the bottom of the page.<\/p>\n

Event States in 25Live<\/h3>\n

Depending on how your instance of 25Live is set up and your security, the following event states may be available.

Draft<\/strong>: An event Draft is in a transitional state, not currently in the permanent event database. The locations and\/or resources of events with a Draft state are saved as preferences, not assignments, and can be assigned to other events. Without proper security permissions or complete information, your events may be saved as Drafts.
\nTentative<\/strong>: Events with a Tentative state can be edited by authorized users, can have assigned locations and resources, and can have their state changed.<\/div>
\"Event<\/a><\/div><\/div>
\nConfirmed<\/strong>: Events with a Confirmed state can be edited by authorized users, can have assigned locations and resources, and can have their state changed.
\nSealed: By default, events with a Sealed state are finalized and cannot be edited or changed without proper security permissions.
\nDenied<\/strong>: Events with a Denied state cannot normally be edited in any way or restored to an editable state except by a specially authorized user with the appropriate functional security.
\nCancelled<\/strong>: An event with a Cancelled state cannot normally be edited in any way or restored to an editable state. When an event is saved in this state, all its location and resource assignments are immediately released for re-assignment.<\/p>\n
