Are you interested in having a meaningful career helping others? Would you like to work with children, youth and families in your community? Build the foundation that will help you make a positive difference in people\u2019s lives through the minor in Social Work!<\/p>\n

In this program, you will gain a comprehensive overview of social work, with a focus on policy and practice issues relevant to children and families. Learn about the social work profession, its values and ethics, fields of practice, and different models of intervention.<\/p>\n

The 18-credit minor is open to students of any major and is ideal for those who want to learn more about the field of social work, are considering a career in human services, or are interested in a graduate social work program in the future. The courses in the minor are:<\/p>\n
