Classes are offered in both face-to-face and hybrid formats, making it easier to balance school with your professional schedule. You can take the courses in any order, and each one is offered once per academic year.<\/p>\n<h3>Curriculum<\/h3>\n<p>To earn your Forensic Accounting Certificate, you must complete all four courses:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BSLW 506 \u2013 Legal Issues in Forensic Accounting<\/li>\n<li>ACCT 526 \u2013 Fraud Examination<\/li>\n<li>ACCT 527 \u2013 Forensic Accounting<\/li>\n<li>ACCT 528 \u2013 Business Valuation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Note: Students must apply through the Graduate School for the graduate Forensic Accounting Certificate in order to receive the credential upon completion.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"prpl-column one-half\">\n<figure class=\"responsive-image-holder wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"mlt-responsive-image\" data-original-image=\"\/academics\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2025\/09\/092017_1590_Forensic-Accounting-cert-cb1.jpg\" src=\"\/responsive-media\/cache\/academics\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2025\/09\/092017_1590_Forensic-Accounting-cert-cb1.jpg.0.1x.generic.jpg\" alt=\"Student in business attire, speaking to a company representative at job fair\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div><\/div><br \/>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"prpl-band lt-gray no-margin\"><div class=\"text-content\">\n<h2>Admission Requirements<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Equivalent of a U.S. bachelor&#8217;s degree.<\/li>\n<li>Applicants with non-U.S. degrees: Please visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/graduate\/how-to-apply\/international-applicants\/\">international applicants page<\/a> to review U.S. degree equivalency information.<\/li>\n<li>An undergraduate degree in accounting is a requirement to be admitted or undergraduate degree in finance with substantial relevant experience.<\/li>\n<li>Students seeking an F1\/J1 visa are not eligible for this certificate program unless they are currently pursuing a master&#8217;s degree at ÌÇÐÄvlog and are able to simultaneously pursue both programs while maintaining their student visa requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Application Checklist<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline<\/strong>: Rolling admissions for fall and spring.
