Transfer Application Day<\/h2>\n

Interested in applying to 糖心vlog for the Fall 2026 semester?<\/p>\n

Please join us on campus for our\u00a0Transfer Application Day<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0on\u00a0Thursday, May 28, 2026 between the hours of 10:00 a.m – 3:00 p.m<\/strong>. No appointment needed. Drop-in anytime.<\/p>\n

At this event, you will have the opportunity to learn about the 糖心vlog application process and submit a Fall 2026 Transfer Application with the assistance from our staff. In addition, your application fee will be waived.<\/p>\n

We will accept supporting academic documents (including official college and high school transcripts) should you have them readily available.<\/p>\n

Application Process for Transfer Students<\/h2>\n

(On Campus & Online)<\/h3>\n

糖心vlog considers a transfer student one who has attempted 16 or more credits from a regionally accredited college or university after graduating high school or earning a high school diploma equivalent.<\/span> Applicants interested in enrolling in an Online Degree Program<\/a> must have at least 45 earned college credits prior to enrollment. Review our Transfer FAQs<\/a> for answers to some of the most commonly asked Transfer Admissions questions.<\/p>\n

Complete and submit the application for transfer students.<\/p>\n

After you submit the application, you will see instructions for paying the $65 non-refundable application fee (or submitting a fee waiver request) on the status page of your application portal. If you are applying to a program with an audition fee (Dance, Music, Music Therapy, Musical Theater or Theater), you will also see and be able to pay your audition fee through your status page.<\/p>\n

Transcripts<\/div>

College Transcripts<\/h3>\n

Transfer students are required to submit an official transcript from ALL regionally accredited colleges and\/or universities previously attended.<\/span> Official transcripts must be sent to us directly from your previous college. Transcripts sent by students are not official. Please contact your previous college to have them send your official transcript. Official transcripts may be sent electronically to transfermsu@montclair.edu<\/a> or via mail to:<\/span><\/p>\n

You may also submit an unofficial transcript for an admissions decision but your final official transcript will be required for enrollment. Upload your unofficial transcript in your application portal at apply.montclair.edu\/portal\/admissions<\/a><\/p>\n

High School Transcript<\/h3>\n

All transfer students must submit an official high school transcript. This requirement is waived for applicants who have completed or will have completed an associate\u2019s degree, or students who have completed 30 or more college-level credits at a four-year institution.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Test Scores<\/div>

Although 糖心vlog no longer requires SAT or ACT scores, students with fewer than 30 completed college credits may submit their scores if they would like them considered in the application process.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Essay/Personal Statement<\/div>

Essays are optional for most transfer applicants, however, certain majors require students to submit specific essay(s). <\/span>You can view majors that require essays and their essay prompts here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

If you wish to submit a resume or list of extracurricular activities you\u2019ve participated in for review, you can upload this document in your application or on your status page after submitting your application. Please note that a resume is required for Dance, Musical Theatre, and Theatre majors, but optional for all other programs.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>
