Now that you\u2019ve been accepted to Montclair State, your next step is to enroll as a full-fledged Red Hawk.<\/p>\n

Use the checklist below for guidance.<\/p>\n

In addition to completing the steps on the\u00a0Freshmen Student Checklist<\/a> or\u00a0Transfer Student Checklist<\/a>, all accepted EOF students must also:<\/p>\n

Submit the FAFSA Financial Aid Form<\/div>

For Freshmen Students:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Complete the 2024-25 FAFSA for your mandatory Residential Summer Academy<\/a> program (June 30, 2024 – July 31, 2024) online<\/a>\u00a0as soon as possible. We recommend that you use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool to link, or transfer, your tax return information from the IRS website into your FAFSA. Montclair State’s school code is 002617.<\/p>\n

For Freshmen and Transfer Students:<\/strong><\/p>\n

To receive final acceptance into the EOF program for the academic year and to be considered for federal and state financial aid, as well as any merit- or non-merit-based scholarships, you must complete the\u00a0FAFSA<\/a> (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) by March 1.<\/p>\n

Placement Testing<\/div>

Foreign Language Placement Testing:<\/strong><\/p>\n

All students at ÌÇÐÄvlog must complete or transfer in 6 credits of world language coursework to meet graduation requirements. If you plan to continue studying a world language you have studied previously, you must complete the Foreign Language Placement Test.\u00a0Learn more about the test.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

Mathematics and Chemistry Placement Assessment:<\/strong><\/p>\n

ÌÇÐÄvlog requires the ALEKS Placement, Preparation, and Learning (ALEKS PPL) Assessment<\/a> for students in certain majors to determine readiness for math courses. This web-based assessment identifies strengths and areas for improvement, providing an opportunity to review and reassess.<\/p>\n
