The new platform allows for online mentorship and volunteer opportunities. It offers new and improved ways to connect with fellow alumni and with the University. Through the online community you can network, mentor, learn and stay up to date with the latest events. Check out the platform, complete our quick <a href=\"https:\/\/www.surveymonkey.com\/r\/MCsoftlaunch\">survey<\/a> and tell us what you think!<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re celebrating a decade of MONTCLAIR<em>connect<\/em> by upgrading the platform to better engage our alumni,\u201d says Stacy Albanese Fagioli, Associate Director of Alumni Engagement. \u201cWe\u2019ve listened to the feedback and needs of our alumni and are excited to unveil this interactive new community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s new?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Expand your network and connect with fellow graduates<\/li>\n<li>Customize your profile and share your expertise<\/li>\n<li>Start a discussion about issues of interest to you<\/li>\n<li>Explore ways to engage with Montclair State as a volunteer<\/li>\n<li>Participate in flash mentorship and formal mentor programs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition, all of your favorite benefits are still available, including the searchable directory, Gmail for Life, our library of career webinars and workshops, discount codes, and more!<\/p>\n<figure class=\"responsive-image-holder wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"mlt-responsive-image\" data-original-image=\"\/alumni\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2020\/05\/MC3-1.png\" src=\"\/responsive-media\/cache\/alumni\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2020\/05\/MC3-1.png.0.1x.generic.jpg\" alt=\"screenshot of community site\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>You can also stay connected to your alma mater through digital events being offered to the Montclair State community at this time.
