The Women\u2019s Initiative Network<\/a> (WIN) is forming to engage Montclair State\u2019s nearly 85,000 alumnae in the intellectual, cultural and educational life of the University. We are looking to form a vibrant community of alumnae and friends to inspire and empower women to become leading volunteers and visionary donors.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are excited to create this community and grow a supportive network for each other and the mission of Montclair State,\u201d says Jeanne Marano, Assistant Vice President for Annual Giving and Alumni Engagement. \u201cJoin us as we embark on this journey. We are looking for representation across all professional disciplines and from every career stage from senior executives to young professionals to entrepreneurs.\u201d<\/p>\n

If you are interested in joining the network or serving on the planning committee, please complete this brief survey<\/a> to tell us a little bit about yourself, your interests and thoughts on developing future activities.<\/p>\n

The objective of the group is to increase the number of women meaningfully engaged in University programs, empower the next generation of leaders and strengthen ties between and among alumnae and the University through a strong network of women committed to supporting Montclair State.<\/p>\n

Upcoming Events
\nDuring the current environment, the Office of Alumni Engagement has been hard at work developing a broad portfolio of digital programs to keep you connected to each other and to the University. <\/p>\n

Individuals interested in joining the Women\u2019s Initiative Network are encouraged to attend the event on Monday, January 25, featuring career and executive coach Rob Hellmann<\/a> presenting a Professional Development Workshop on Networking Best Practices to Land the Job and Career You Want<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Look for additional opportunities to gather online during the month of February. We will host information gatherings and planning sessions to gather input and feedback from attendees and survey respondents on committee and program development.<\/p>\n

Groups are a great way to connect with your fellow alumni as well as stay up-to-date on news and announcements.
