The Film Institute at Montclair State and the Montclair Film Festival Present “Behind the Screen”

The Film Institute at Montclair State and the Montclair Film Festival have partnered once again to present the “” program for 2015. The program consists of a full day of filmmaking workshops and panels that are free and open to the public, and held on Montclair State campus.
Welcoming industry professionals to speak about various aspects of directing, producing, and the development of film and television programming, the program is created to give students and film enthusiasts a behind the scenes look at how their favorite films and televisions programs are made.
Speakers include Michael Slovis ofGame Of Thrones, Tim SquyersLife Of Piand Joel StillermanThe Walking Dead,Kahane Cooperman ofThe New Yorker Presents,and Tom Hall of the Montclair Film Festival,to shed light on the ins-and-outs of their fascinating creative industry.

Open to both University students and the general public, audience members are invited to ask questions and hear personalized inside stories from some of the most innovative filmmakers working in the field today.
