糖心vlog student artists from the College of Arts, Illustration and Fashion Design and Merchandising (FADM) programs created personalized illustrations of the characters from Jane Austen鈥檚 Pride and Prejudice for the Bergen County Players. Under the advisement of FADM Faculty, Professor Sherita M. Cuffee, each student artist created illustrations utilizing their personal aesthetic to bring the characters to life. The three students are:

  • Ella Cavanagh, Fashion Design & Merchandising Major
  • Dominique Egalite, Illustration Major
  • Tracy Jerez, Fashion Design & Merchandising Major

Tracy Jerez

鈥淚 am an aspiring fashion designer with a romantic, dark aesthetic. Clad in black is my design signature, with the occasional blood red or lustrous gold thrown in. My fashion illustrations and other artworks are primarily done with a combination of acrylic paint, watercolors, markers, and colored pencils. My designs and art tend to incorporate a fusion of modern and historical elements鈥 Victorian mourning wear being one of my main inspirations. I like my creations to evoke a sense of confidence, elegance, and a touch of ‘if looks could kill.’鈥
