{"id":18768,"date":"2018-02-27T12:49:21","date_gmt":"2018-02-27T17:49:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/news\/article.php?ArticleID=18768"},"modified":"2022-02-15T16:02:06","modified_gmt":"2022-02-15T21:02:06","slug":"18768_2018-cart-convocation-is-around-the-corner","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/arts\/2018\/02\/27\/18768_2018-cart-convocation-is-around-the-corner\/","title":{"rendered":"2018 CART Convocation is around the corner!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The time is near&#8211;the end of an era and the start of new beginnings.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Seniors graduating from the College of the Arts are cordially invited to attend the 2018 College of the Arts Convocation Ceremony to be held Monday, May 21, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. on Sprague Field of the University campus.<\/p>\n<p><em>(The program takes place prior to the ÌÇÐÄvlog Commencement to be held Friday, May 25<sup>th<\/sup>, at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Convocation is a pre-commencement ceremony that celebrates the academic achievements of baccalaureate candidates of the College of the Arts who graduated last August or January or who will be graduating in May. (Master\u2019s degree candidates are recognized at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/commencement\/graduate\/\">The Graduate School Commencement<\/a>) Individuals\u2019 names will be recited during the ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>Held on a separate date following Convocation, the ÌÇÐÄvlog Commencement is the official ceremony which recognizes ALL University graduates and signifies the official conferral of degrees.
