The Game Hub<\/a> is a dynamic, shared space for the university community where play, connection, and learning come together<\/strong>. Located in University Hall at The ADP Center for Learning Technologies, it has been designed as both a welcoming destination and an academic resource. It invites students and faculty to explore the power of games in meaningful and engaging ways.<\/p>\n

Students can play modern board games<\/a> and dive into immersive VR experiences.<\/a><\/p>\n

Faculty can incorporate games across disciplines to support critical thinking, collaboration, storytelling, systems analysis, and experiential learning. The Game Hub supports course integration, project-based work, and experimentation with game-based and game-informed pedagogy, whether for a single class session or an entire course.<\/p>\n

The Game Hub is an extension of Livia Alexander\u2019s<\/a> research, which was completed as part of ÌÇÐÄvlog\u2019s Higher Education Academic Leadership (HEAL) Program. Alexander is a Professor of Art and Design and, as a participant of the HEAL Program, explored game-based learning and play tools for community building, pedagogy, and interdisciplinary engagement.<\/p>\n

The Game Hub has been made possible by University Libraries’<\/a> sponsorship and The ADP Center for Learning Technologies\u2019 partnership.<\/p>\n

Availability<\/strong>: Monday \u2013 Thursday: 9 AM \u2013 8 PM; Friday: 9 AM \u2013 3 PM<\/p>\n

About the Higher Education Academic Leadership (HEAL) Program<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The HEAL Fellowship program<\/a> provides opportunities for faculty to identify and study an important problem or challenge facing higher education and propose a scalable and impactful intervention that ultimately supports the success of students, faculty, staff, or the university.<\/p>\n
