A story by David Galef, professor in the Department of English and director of the creative writing program, will be featured on the public radio show . Produced by Symphony Space, the show will be hosted by Ruth K. Westheimer and recorded on Feb. 8.

For this Valentine’s show, the producers selected Galef’s short story “,” from his story collection of the same name.

Galef is the author of more than a dozen books, including the recent Brevity: A Flash Fiction Handbook. His other books include the novels , , and , as well as the short story collections and .
