English MA Candidate Receives Award at NJCEA Conference

Congratulations to Daniela Conte, a Master’s degree candidate in the Department of English. She was invited to present at the annual conference of the  on April 1 at Seton Hall University and she won an award for the best graduate student paper.
Her paper is titled: “Voice, Cultural Identity, and Inclusion: Examining African American Exclusion and Urban Language Issues in Higher Education.” She first developed the paper in a Graduate Research Methods course taught by Naomi Liebler. In 2016, she also presented on this topic at the Graduate Conference.
