She was invited to present at the\u00a0annual conference of the <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.njcea.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">New Jersey College English Association<\/a>\u00a0on April 1 at Seton Hall University and she won an award for the best graduate student paper.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Her paper is titled: &#8220;Voice, Cultural Identity, and Inclusion: Examining African American Exclusion and Urban Language Issues in Higher Education.&#8221; She first developed the paper in a Graduate Research Methods course taught by Naomi Liebler.
