The \u201c4 + 1\u201d Bachelors\/MBA is a five year program, during which students\u00a0will spend three years taking courses required for their chosen bachelor\u2019s degree\u00a0program and in their fourth year, they will complete (along with required undergraduate\u00a0program courses) 6 credits\u00a0worth of graduate business (MBA) coursework. This\u00a0will satisfy\u00a0both undergraduate degree requirements and count toward achievement of the MBA degree.<\/p>\n

In the\u00a0fifth year, students will take their courses required for a General MBA, in a full-time\u00a0format with graduate coursework. Students must apply for acceptance into the program in their junior year and will be admitted\u00a0into the MBA program in their senior year if they meet the GPA requirement. Students\u00a0who do not meet 4 + 1 program requirements or who choose not to pursue the MBA by\u00a0completing the remaining courses in year five will graduate with a Bachelor\u2019s degree. Students\u00a0who complete the 5-year program will possess both a Bachelor\u2019s degree in their undergraduate\u00a0discipline and an MBA degree.<\/p>\n
Program Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n As of Spring 2019, the following undergraduate programs are approved for participation in the 4 +1 program:<\/p>\n As enrollees in a 5 year Bachelors\/MBA program, students will complete 120 credits of\u00a0undergraduate courses including 6 credits of MBA core courses (\u201cswing\u201d courses),\u00a024\u00a0credits of remaining MBA core coursework\u00a0and 6 credits of MBA elective courses, for a total of 150\u00a0credits.<\/p>\n\n
