Petros\u2019 exhibit <em>Spazio Disponibile<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>ÌÇÐÄvlog professor, Dr. Teresa Fiore (Inserra Chair in Italian and Italian American Studies), was invited to present on her work about the relationships between colonialism and migrations, which will be later adapted to an essay for a catalogue.<\/p>\n<p><strong>June 27, 2020<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>\u201cTransnational Pre[-]Occupations in Dawit L. Petros\u2019 Project about Colonial and Migratory Spaces (Eritrea-Italy-Canada)\u201d<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/433661022\">Watch Teresa&#8217;s Presentation<\/a><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The series \u201cItaly and East Africa: Unexplored Histories\u201d at large reflects on the incursions of Fascism, the damaging processes of \u201cmodernization,\u201d past and current migration policies and uses of migrant labour, the reconfiguration of geographic boundaries and exploitation of lands, among others.
