A crew from The College Tour<\/em> visited campus<\/a> last October, taping 20 different segments that cover all things Montclair, including campus life, academics, internships, research and service opportunities. \u201cThe crew let me be my complete, authentic self,\u201d recalls Nikki-James Soto. \u201cI like to try new things and meet new people, but I didn\u2019t know what I was walking into.\u201d<\/p>\n

Soto is a senior with a double major in Psychology<\/a> and Elementary Education and, as part of Montclair\u2019s 4+1 program, will earn her Master of Arts in Teaching next year. Putting herself in front of a camera wasn\u2019t part of her college plans.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to be a teacher. I want to work with kids. I never thought that I\u2019d get a chance to do any sort of production,\u201d Soto says. \u201cBut I had such a fun time and was able to have friends be a part of it too. This is something we\u2019re going to have a memory of forever.\u201d<\/p>\n

Montclair’s episode is part of Season 4.\u00a0 The full episode is available on the University\u2019s YouTube channel<\/a> and website<\/a>. In late March, the University hosted a watch party and a live Q&A<\/a> with the student cast members of The College Tour<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The national rollout on Amazon Prime Video<\/a> launched in April, with the episode streaming on a number of platforms, including Roku, Apple TV and Sony, and The College Tour<\/a><\/em> app.<\/p>\n
