REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN <\/a><\/strong>for \u201cTeaching Italian Symposium\/Workshops XV: Italian + STEM<\/strong>\u201d\u2013 the 15th annual professional development program organized by the Coccia Institute for the Italian Experience in America and Prof.ssa Enza Antenos, Dept. of World Languages & Cultures, at ÌÇÐÄvlog. This annual event will resume to an in-person format on FRIDAY, OCT. 21 from 10:30am-5:00pm in University Hall\u2019s 7th floor Conference Center at ÌÇÐÄvlog<\/strong>. The annual unveiling of the national Coccia-Inserra Award for Excellence and Innovation in the Teaching of Italian (K-12) will be presented on this occasion.<\/span><\/p>\n

Please note: In order to receive the Professional Development Certificate, participants must stay the full duration of the Symposium. Certificates will not be issued if an individual leaves the Symposium early.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The registration fee for this year’s Symposium is $80 for teachers of Italian and $30 for prospective teachers\/graduate students.<\/p>\n

We are looking forward to welcoming back past attendees and greeting new members of the teaching community! Please go ahead and register even if you have not as yet received formal authorization from your school district\/Board of Ed \u2013 we understand that it takes time!<\/span><\/p>\n
