Every year the Intercollegiate Broadcast System honors the best and the brightest among college and high school media.\u00a0 The IBS is an organization with a membership of over one thousand non-profit, education-affiliated radio stations and webcasters. Founded in 1940, IBS is headquartered in New Windsor, New York.<\/p>\n
In 2018, WMSC received the Spirit of College Radio Award, and, last year, the station earned a nomination for the prestigious Marconi Radio Awards for \u201cBest College Radio Station of the Year.\u201d<\/p>\n
