The information technology curriculum prepares students for the study, design, development, implementation, testing and support of applications of computing and communication technologies to solve the major challenges in today\u2019s business, industry or government work environments.<\/p>\n<p>The primary objective of the MS degree in Cybersecurity is to train students on a broad range of security related topics with hands-on experience and preparing them to be part of next generation Cybersecurity workforce to meet the growing demand for Cybersecurity professionals in industry, academia and government agencies. In addition, students will have a unique opportunity of doing research on related security projects.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/academics\/programs\/bs-information-technology\/\">BS in Information Technology<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/academics\/programs\/ms-cybersecurity\/\">MS in Cybersecurity<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Application Requirements<\/h2>\n<div class=\"prpl-drawer\"><div class=\"prpl-drawer-header\">Students with a GPA of 3&period;0 or above<\/div><div class=\"prpl-drawer-content\">\n<ul>\n<li>Application Deadline: Rolling admission<\/li>\n<li>Students will be sent an expedited application from Graduate Admissions to complete<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"prpl-drawer\"><div class=\"prpl-drawer-header\">Students with a GPA below 3&period;0<\/div><div class=\"prpl-drawer-content\">\n<p>Students with a GPA below a 3.0 are not eligible for admission to a Combined Program, and will need to\u00a0<a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/graduate\/how-to-apply\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"c-link\" data-stringify-link=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/graduate\/how-to-apply\/\" data-sk=\"tooltip_parent\" data-remove-tab-index=\"true\">submit a traditional application<\/a>\u00a0to their\u00a0<a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/graduate\/programs-of-study\/#\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"c-link\" data-stringify-link=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/graduate\/programs-of-study\/#\/\" data-sk=\"tooltip_parent\" data-remove-tab-index=\"true\">graduate program of interest<\/a>.
