NJ Transit<\/h2>\nTrain<\/h2>\n
Montclair State is home to two train stations on its campus.\u00a0 These two stations are found along the Montclair-Boonton line<\/a>.<\/p>\n For additional information, please check NJ Transit\u2019s\u00a0train schedules<\/a>. For other stops along the Montclair-Boonton Line, transfer or fare information, please check the train schedule<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Montclair State bus stop is located in front of the Red Hawk Deck on College Ave.<\/p>\n Four bus lines currently operate on campus. Three from NJ Transit and one private carrier.<\/p>\n Get the Bus Schedule<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n The NJ Transit buses that currently run to campus are the 191<\/a>, 28<\/a>, and 705<\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The partnership between 糖心vlog and NJ TRANSIT that gives students more transportation options and opportunities continues! 糖心vlog full-time undergraduate, part-time degree seeking students taking at least two courses, and graduate students are eligible to receive a rail, bus, or light rail monthly pass at 25% off of the regular monthly pass price, when they enroll online through NJ TRANSIT\u2019s Student Pass.<\/p>\n (Note: The discounted NJ Transit Monthly Pass is only available during the regular fall and spring semesters.)<\/p>\n You can view more information on the NJ Transit Student Discount Pass here<\/a>.<\/p>\n See the steps below to purchase your monthly NJTransit pass. All NJTransit passes must be purchased virtually and no physical forms will be accepted at Red Hawk Central for enrollment verification.<\/p>\n Step One:<\/strong> Eligible students should visit: njtransit.montclair.edu<\/a> to start the process. This will bring you to the page below.<\/p>\n Here you should log in with your NetID and password. If you qualify, it will direct you to the next page (see below). If it doesn’t recognize your NetID, you should contact itservicedesk@montclair.edu<\/a>. Reasons it may not work may include an issue with your NetID.<\/p>\n Step Two: <\/strong>If successful, you will see the following message along with this page.<\/p>\n If you have never created an account you should click \u201cCreate New Account\u201d. If you are returning, you can Reactivate your Suspended Account. This is the option for anyone returning every semester.<\/p>\n Step Three:<\/strong> When you click \u201cCreate New Account\u201d, you will see the following registration page. PLEASE NOTE:<\/strong> this page is fully managed by NJ Transit – so if there are any issues you will have to contact NJ Transit. The instructions are listed on the right hand side of the page. Keep in mind that you need to use your Montclair State e-mail and SPECIFICALLY the one that ends in @mail.montclair.edu. For example, you should use montclairstudent123@mail.montclair.edu<\/strong> not montclairstudent123@montclair.edu<\/strong>. When you are done it will ask you to verify the e-mail address and prompt you to download the app where you can log in with this information.<\/p>\n If you have done it correctly – you will see \u201cStudent Discount\u201d on the payment page. If you do not see this you did not complete the steps correctly.<\/p>\n If you are having difficulties with creating an account, make sure you are using a mobile device.\u00a0 Attempt to use mobile data and NOT WIFI to create the account.\u00a0 If you are still having difficulty, attempt to perform a password reset on your account.\u00a0 This will help update your account.\u00a0 If you are still having difficulty, please contact NJ Transit at 973-491-8810 or njtcallcenter@njtransit<\/span>.com.<\/p>\n Please Note:<\/strong> Purchase of your Monthly Student Pass is available beginning 5 p.m. on the 19th of the previous month, through the 10th day of the month in which the pass is valid (for example, for a January pass, purchase 5 p.m. December 19 – January 10).<\/p>\n Getting started is easy. To initially sign up, you must login through the secure 糖心vlog access\u00a0(https:\/\/njtransit.montclair.edu\/<\/a>). Your student status will be verified electronically to NJ TRANSIT. When you sign up the price of the monthly pass you order will automatically reflect the 25 percent student discount. During your enrollment, you will create a \u201cMyTix user name and password,\u201d so you can view or manage your account directly from the NJ TRANSIT Student Pass<\/a> without entering from our university site. For help, please contact NJ Transit at 973-491-8810 or njtcallcenter@njtransit<\/span>.com.X.<\/p>\n If you are an existing Student Discount Pass (Quik-Tik) customer, all you need to do is reactivate your account.<\/p>\n Here\u2019s how:<\/p>\n After your account is reactivated, you will again receive monthly passes each month on an automatic basis until next May. You must enter Quik-Tik from 糖心vlog NJ Transit website<\/a> to reactivate your account.<\/p>\n MyTix offers the convenience of auto-pay combined with online account management. You will receive your student monthly pass and your credit card will be automatically billed.<\/p>\n It\u2019s important to remember:<\/p>\n\n
