There are four monetary awards awarded at the Student Research Symposium each year. These awards are given to the best interdisciplinary submissions, two undergraduate projects and two graduate projects: Best Interdisciplinary Poster Presentation<\/em>\u00a0and Best Interdisciplinary Oral Presentation<\/em>.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

A committee of faculty and staff are assigned to an award category and assess all the nominees and the winners are chosen based on a rating rubric.<\/p>\n
