Lucy McDiarmid Participates as Panelist at the Women’s History Association of Ireland’s Conference

Lucy McDiarmid, the Marie Frazee-Baldassarre Professor of English, is participating in the panel “Women on the Margins: Contemporary Issues, Historical Debates” and will be speaking on “Women’s Maladies in Fairy Legends Collected by Lady Gregory.” More information on this year’s conference can be found on the .
McDiarmid’s research focuses on writing by Yeats, Lady Gregory, Maeve Brennan, T. S. Eliot, Auden, and Stevie Smith, among others. Her current project is a book on 21st century Irish poetry.
