You’ve heard about, or maybe even done, speed dating for your love life. But next week, you have a chance to participate in a Date Night for startups and entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n
Officially titled “Cofounder Date Night,” the event on Jan. 16 at 6:30 p.m. in Somerset is\u00a0for startup founders who are looking for a developer co-founder, or a developer looking for an interesting company.<\/p>\n
The format will start with 3-minute overviews by developers, which is\u00a0a great opportunity to brag a little and make members aware of your experiences and interest. Following the developers will be 3-minute pitches by founders who are looking for a CTO or equity developer. This is a founder’s big opportunity to get a hot-shot developer excited about their project.<\/p>\n
This event is a merge of another sort: several Meetups in New Jersey are collaborating on this event, including\u00a0NJ Entrepreneurs & Technology Startups Meetup<\/a>\u00a0run by Juice Tank<\/a>,\u00a0Madison Tech Meetup, Raritan Valley Startups and Entrepreneurs,\u00a0Scarlet Startups<\/a>, and our Meetup\u00a0group, Montclair Entrepreneurs<\/a>.<\/p>\n The event is at Juice Tank’s office at 220 Davidson Ave., Somerset. Juice Tank will charge you $5 at the door which will entitle you to food and beer\/wine.
