Week 4 of the “Be a Strong Student” campaign urges students to “seek academic help.” While this might involve students reaching out to their instructors, faculty are not on their own when it comes to supporting students academically. Yet instructors might not always be aware of the types of resources they can refer their students to or incorporate into their courses. Join us for this session, and learn more about the available support from representatives of the Center for Academic Success and Tutoring (CAST) and the Center for Writing Excellence (CWE). Questions welcome!

Whether you participated in the Strong Student Campaign this semester or want to learn more about it, please join us for this session. In this campaign, we are working with staff across the university to provide clear guidance on the small, simple behaviors students can adopt to be successful. Students are messaged directly, but instructors can do their part as well. Learn about the campaign, how you can incorporate it (simply and easily) into your fall course, and give feedback on how we can make it even stronger.
