Adjunct faculty appointment occurs on a semester-by-semester basis and is managed by department, school, and college, though also governed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/human-resources\/current-employees\/union-contracts\/\">collective bargaining agreements<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Personnel Procedures &amp; Resources<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Timelines and official templates for all personnel actions for Tenure-Track and Teaching Faculty are maintained on the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/provost\/administrative-calendar\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Administrative Calendar<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, which is updated <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">every summer. Timelines are negotiated by the University and AFT Local 1904, and require careful attention by candidates and reviewers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Almost all personnel procedures are executed through the Interfolio system.
