A message from The Graduate School /graduate/2020/06/11/a-message-from-the-graduate-school/ /graduate/2020/06/11/a-message-from-the-graduate-school/#respond Thu, 11 Jun 2020 16:08:13 +0000 http://www.montclair.edu/graduate/?p=10839 MSU’s Graduate School stands in solidarity with all those who are fighting racism and oppression in America, including those in the Black Lives Matter movement. We are sincerely outraged at the killing of unarmed black people at the hands of police, and we encourage all students to read President Cole’s strongly supportive communication to the campus community as an accurate reflection of the values of the staff and students of MSU.

The Graduate School actively promotes the values of diversity, inclusion, fairness, and justice for all of the students and staff members in our community. We will continue to work with our graduate students to create supportive and safe spaces for their education and professional development. We encourage any student who experiences any form of racism on our campus to contact us immediately. We are here to help.
