Students from all majors are encouraged to apply!<\/p>\n<h2>How to Apply<\/h2>\n<p>The Peer Health Advocate application process occurs twice a year\u2014once in the spring and once in the summer. Applications are accepted for new volunteers joining in the upcoming fall semester.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Look for an email with a link to the online application during the spring and summer! (We will send to your Montclair State email).<\/li>\n<li>Fill out the Peer Health Advocate Volunteer Application.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in a group interview with other promising applicants and members of the Health Promotion team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If selected, you will be required to attend mandatory in-person trainings and complete an online training to develop the skills needed to serve as an effective health resource for students.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our Peer Health Advocates are energetic, self-motivated student leaders with a variety of diverse interests.
