  {"id":7029,"date":"2018-06-27T14:01:53","date_gmt":"2018-06-27T18:01:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/information-technology\/?page_id=7029"},"modified":"2025-09-15T11:34:29","modified_gmt":"2025-09-15T15:34:29","slug":"adobe-products","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/information-technology\/adobe-products\/","title":{"rendered":"Adobe Products"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Adobe Acrobat, Express, Creative Cloud, and Firefly<\/h2>\n<p>Adobe tools at ÌÇÐÄvlog just got better!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Newly available:<\/strong> All Faculty, Staff, and Students now have access to <strong>Adobe Express<\/strong> and <strong>Adobe Firefly<\/strong>, making it easier than ever to create quick designs, graphics, and AI-assisted content.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Faculty and Staff<\/strong> continue to have access to Adobe Acrobat and also now benefit from limited licenses for <strong>Adobe Creative Cloud<\/strong>, which includes applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. These can be installed on university-issued Macs or PCs, and Acrobat DC remains installed by default on all university-owned computers. Faculty and Staff can also install Creative Cloud on up to two concurrent devices by following the User Quick Guide (linked below) on page 5 \u2013 <em>Access via creativecloud.adobe.com<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Students<\/strong> have access to Adobe Express and Firefly but do not receive Creative Cloud licenses. Acrobat Reader remains available on university-owned computers for viewing and basic PDF needs.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Benefits of Named User Licensing<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Adobe products operate on a self-service basis, and some benefits include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Storage of up to 100GB of data in cloud-based storage. (For details of what is allowed to be stored, please review our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/information-technology\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/168\/2018\/04\/DataClassificationandHandlingPolicy.pdf\">Data Classification and Handling Policy<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Download, install, and update your apps through the Apps tab without IT intervention.<\/li>\n<li>Organize and share your files through the work tab.<\/li>\n<li>Change the install language, launch settings, auto-update options, and notifications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Open the Creative Cloud Application on your device for a complete list of all available applications included in our license.
