New NetID Account Management System for Affiliates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Information Technology is currently rolling out the new NetID account management system to affiliates (any individual who has a NetID but is not an employee, student, or emeritus).\u00a0 This system is already being used by employees, students and emeriti.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Affiliates will be required to verify\/update their personal email and\/or cell phone as part of their profile information in Banner. A self-service link will be available, for affiliates to update the information in Banner, in NEST through a published portlet.\u00a0 Affiliates will then need to change their NetID password.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Note : their NetIDs will not change.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Major benefits of the new NetID account management system include:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Faster creation of NetID accounts<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Simpler and more secure self-service password resets<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Enhanced security monitoring<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Information Technology is currently rolling out the new NetID account management system to affiliates (any individual who has a NetID but is not an employee, student, or emeritus).\u00a0 This system is already being used by employees, students and emeriti.
