{"id":1493,"date":"2021-12-22T10:51:56","date_gmt":"2021-12-22T15:51:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/itds\/?page_id=1493"},"modified":"2023-05-18T12:10:13","modified_gmt":"2023-05-18T16:10:13","slug":"presenters","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/itds\/faculty-development-support\/annual-conferences\/annual-summer-institute\/presenters\/","title":{"rendered":"Summer Institute Presenters"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 2023 Annual Summer Institute will be hosted on <strong>June 7th &amp; 8th, 2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Keynote Speaker: Dr. Brian Beatty<\/h3>\n<div class=\"prpl-band-small lt-gray no-margin\"><div class=\"text-content\"><div class=\"prpl-row\">\n<div class=\"prpl-column two-thirds\">\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/faculty.sfsu.edu\/~bjbeatty\/\">Dr. Brian Beatty<\/a> is a Professor of Instructional Design and Technology in the Department of Equity, Leadership Studies and Instructional Technologies at San Francisco State University. Previously (2012 \u2013 2020), Brian was Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs Operations at San Francisco State University (SF State), overseeing the Academic Technology unit and coordinating the use of technology in the academic programs across the university. At SFSU, Dr. Beatty pioneered the development and evaluation of the HyFlex course design model for blended learning environments, implementing a \u201cstudent-directed-hybrid\u201d approach to better support student learning.
