Social annotation tools create a venue for greater engagement among students and faculty, where they can collaborate and share annotations. Those annotations can add valuable information, and also provide a means to ask questions that are directly relevant to the materials being shared.<\/p>\n<p>In this session, we will go over two social annotation tools that integrate with Canvas: Perusall and Hypothesis.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perusall is a tool that allows students to read and annotate documents, videos, and other media collaboratively.
