There are various ways to request materials from outside of our libraries. Check the status of your requests, retrieve articles, and renew loans through our user portal<\/a>.<\/p>\n EZBorrow is the fastest interlibrary lending solution that lets students, faculty & staff affiliated with participating colleges and universities to request, and obtain physical library resources (e.g. books, media). Learn more about EZBorrow<\/a>.<\/a><\/p>\n Request an article or book chapter from another library, or from the University Libraries; print collections (see exclusions<\/a>).<\/p>\n Documents are copied from microfilm, microfiche, print journals, and\/or chapters from a book within copyright. These materials will then be sent directly to you. Please use the article request form<\/a> to make your document delivery request.<\/p>\n Double check that the library doesn’t own it by checking the Journals A-Z<\/strong> list for the title of the journal (e.g. “New England Journal of Medicine”):<\/p>\n You can also check Google Scholar<\/strong> to see if there is a version of the article available for free online as\u00a0Open Access<\/a>. Logging in using the following link will also check the library’s collection for the article:<\/p>\n If the article is not available, place a request using the Article<\/strong> form here:<\/p>\n Please allow up to seven business days for us to fill your article request. If the number of pages exceeds 50 pages, or 10% of the book, we will request the entire book to adhere to copyright restrictions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div> The library subscribes to ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global<\/strong> database, which has the full-text of thousands of dissertations and theses from universities worldwide. Before requesting a dissertation or theses, double check both the database and the library catalog to make sure that the library does not have access to it:<\/p>\n You can also check Google<\/strong> or\u00a0Google Scholar<\/strong>\u00a0to see if the dissertation is available for free online as\u00a0Open Access<\/a>, or from a University website:<\/p>\n If the dissertation or theses is not available in either location, place a request using the Book<\/strong> form here:<\/p>\n Please allow up to three weeks for us to fill your dissertation or thesis request.
