For example, a graduate assistant may need to checkout books for a faculty member. This can be done through the use of proxy accounts:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proxy accounts create a link between the primary library account (the faculty member&#8217;s account) and its proxy (the student or staff member).<\/li>\n<li>The proxy account can be set to expire on a designated date or can be canceled at any time at the request of the faculty member.<\/li>\n<li>The faculty member is still responsible for all late or lost items on their account.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To setup a proxy account, complete and submit the <a href=\"http:\/\/montclair.libwizard.com\/proxy\">Proxy Request Form<\/a>.<strong> Note: Proxy account requests must be made by the requesting faculty member.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Faculty sometimes need a student or a staff member to borrow items or pickup holds on their behalf.
