You should consult the <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"http:\/\/montclair.edu\/library\/hours\" target=\"_blank\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=http:\/\/montclair.edu\/library\/hours&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1612295357945000&amp;usg=AFQjCNFETZfh58f6b0L8x3bHlrYyUpQb1w\">library hours<\/a> page for departmental hours.<\/p>\n<h2>What\u2019s required to enter<\/h2>\n<p>Library users must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Show a current Montclair ID card and a completed Montclair Hawk Check<\/li>\n<li>Pass a temperature check<\/li>\n<li>Follow all CDC and university guidelines as posted<\/li>\n<li>Wear face coverings and practice social distancing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Note: No eating is allowed in the library<\/p>\n<h2>What\u2019s Open and Available<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>1st floor study space and 1st floor silent study spaces are open, except for the reference\/legal area and reference\/legal collection.<\/li>\n<li>Borrowing and Interlibrary Services\n<ul>\n<li>Staff will retrieve requested materials (books and other print materials) and bring them to the front desk in the lobby for patrons where in-person checkout is available. DVDs and other media items are checked out on the Lower Level.<\/li>\n<li>Items (books, DVDs, etc.) may be returned at the desk or through the 24 hour book drop in the entrance to the building.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/library\/services-and-spaces\/borrowing\/patio-pickup\/\">Patio pickup<\/a> of requested library materials is available.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/library\/2020\/08\/04\/fall-course-reserves\/\">Print reserves and multimedia reserves<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/library\/services-and-spaces\/interlibrary-services\/\">Interlibrary loans<\/a> (including print books) can be picked up at the front desk or via Patio Pickup.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/library\/services-and-spaces\/technology-and-equipment\/\">BookScan stations, photocopiers, and printing services<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/library\/about-the-library\/hours\/\">In person Reference services (see hours)<\/a> are available. <a href=\"https:\/\/montclair.libanswers.com\/\">Ask a Librarian<\/a> chat, email, text, FAQ and appointments all remain online.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/montclair.libcal.com\/appointments\">Online research appointments<\/a> for faculty, staff and students are held via Zoom.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/montclair.libcal.com\/\">Online workshops<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/library\/services-and-spaces\/instruction-and-workshops\/\">library classes (arranged by instructors)<\/a> for students on how to do research and use library resources are held over Zoom.<\/li>\n<li>Public computers remain available for library research.<\/li>\n<li>Services to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/library\/services-and-spaces\/services-for-patrons-with-disabilities\/\">users with disabilities<\/a> continue to be available. Contact Steve Shapiro.<\/li>\n<li>Services for users of the government documents collection are available by appointment. Contact Darren Sweeper, Government Documents Librarian.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/library\/services-and-spaces\/forms-and-requests\/\">Request forms<\/a> to request books, ebooks, streaming video, Course Reserves and more<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What\u2019s Not Available<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Laptop lending<\/li>\n<li>Group study rooms, the Faculty-Graduate Reading Room<\/li>\n<li>2nd floor or lower level public access to the stacks\n<ul>\n<li>Staff will retrieve requested items from the stacks and bring them to the desk in the library lobby.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>In-person library classes and instruction.  Book an online session instead.<\/li>\n<li>In-person library workshops.  Register for an online workshop instead.<\/li>\n<li>Public access to the library for non-Montclair users (e.g., community borrowers, Montclair family borrowers, alumni, VALE borrowers).
