University Libraries is here, as always, to provide a wide range of services designed to enrich the library experience. Here are some of the fantastic resources available to you at the front desk:<\/p>\n<h2>Museum Passes<\/h2>\n<p>Our <strong>Museum Pass Program<\/strong>, continues to thrive! We have several passes to renowned museums across New York and New Jersey at no cost. This program offers access to popular institutions, including:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Guggenheim<\/li>\n<li>International Center of Photography<\/li>\n<li>Montclair Art Museum<\/li>\n<li>Museum of the City of New York<\/li>\n<li>Newark Museum of Art<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each pass provides free admission, with some offering exclusive access to special exhibitions and events.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Borrow:<\/strong> Passes can be checked out just like books using your Montclair ID card. Community members can use their NJ Government Issued ID. Reservations are available online through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/library\/services-and-spaces\/borrowing\/museum-passes\/\">University Libraries website<\/a> or in person at the Sprague Library or Bloomfield College Library front desks. Our <strong>Battery Charging Stations<\/strong> are here to help! Borrow a portable battery, charging station, and power cord from the front desk to power up your devices. Each battery provides:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Up to <strong>14 cell phone charges<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>4 tablet charges<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>2 full laptop charges<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please review the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/library\/battery-charging-station-policy\/\">Battery Charging Station Policy<\/a> before checking out. Note: Charging cables are not currently available for borrowing.<\/p>\n<div>\n<hr \/>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Wellness Activities &amp; Tools<\/h2>\n<p>Life can be stressful\u2014let us help you unwind. At University Libraries, you can borrow a variety of <strong>wellness tools and activities<\/strong> to help you relax and recharge. Items available for checkout include:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Noise-Canceling Ear Muffs<\/li>\n<li>Weighted Lap Pads<\/li>\n<li>Brain Teasers<\/li>\n<li>Decks of Cards<\/li>\n<li>Magnetic Sticks and Balls Building Puzzle<\/li>\n<li>Chess Sets<\/li>\n<li>Jigsaw Puzzles<\/li>\n<li>Board Games<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Take a moment for yourself and enjoy some much-needed downtime. Borrow from a selection of:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Basic, Scientific, or Graphing Calculators<\/li>\n<li>Headphones<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Items are available on a <strong>first-come, first-served basis<\/strong> at the front desk.<\/p>\n<div>\n<hr \/>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Wireless Page Turners<\/h2>\n<p>Bluetooth foot controllers that allow musicians the hands free ability to turn pages, read music, scroll lyrics\/tabs, trigger backing tracks and effects, send MIDI commands and custom DAW keys, cue audio and lighting, and more.
