The Noyce Scholarship Program aims to prepare effective elementary mathematics teachers to change the world by teaching elementary-level mathematics in high-need communities. Caitlin recently graduated and just started a teaching position at Ola Edwards Elementary School.<\/p>\n
During the convening, scholars discussed their latest experiences including spending time in classrooms during student teaching or Clinical I and II placements, tutoring peers for the Math Praxis Exam, conducting original research as part of their MATH 491: Mathematics Education Research class, and interviewing for teaching jobs.
