He will work with advisor Dr. David Trubatch to &#8220;Investigate other methods for discretization of KdV.&#8221; Specifically, the Zabusky-Kruskal lattice, and related discretizations of the Korteweg-de Vries equation, are model systems that exhibit nearly periodic behavior (recurrence) on an intermediate scale.
