All University affiliated users for SEM, TEM and confocal microscopes must make a reservation. This ensures access to better management of the microscopes by those in the group. Before users first schedule a microscope, you must be added to the MMRL user list. This can be done by contacting the Director, Laying Wu. You will receive a confirmation email once you’ve been added.<\/p>\n

Making a Reservation<\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. View your Montclair\u00a0Google Calendar<\/a>\u00a0account – Log in with your ÌÇÐÄvlog email, NetID@montclair.edu and password. You should see the microscopy calendar(s) listed under\u00a0Other Calendars<\/em>\u00a0on the bottom of the left menu.<\/li>\n
  2. Add a reservation by pressing the\u00a0Create\u00a0<\/em>button on the top left.\n

    1. Title format – [First Name] [Last Name] – [Yes\/No if assistance is needed]<\/li>\n
    2. Select the date and time you would like to use the microscope<\/li>\n
    3. Select the calendar that corresponds to the microscope you intend to use from the\u00a0Calendar<\/em>\u00a0dropdown menu<\/li>\n

      1. On the right select\u00a0Rooms etc.<\/em><\/li>\n
      2. Search “MMRL” in the search box.<\/li>\n
      3. Unselect the\u00a0show only available<\/em>\u00a0checkbox.<\/li>\n
      4. Click on the\u00a0Asset\u00a0<\/em>tab and select the microscope you wish to reserve.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      5. When complete, click the\u00a0Save<\/em>\u00a0button on the top left of the page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      6. You should see your reservation posted on that calendar for the designated date and time you entered.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
