German student wins full scholarship to Middlebury Language Schools

Kudos to student of German, Avelisse Guzman, and her mentors, Dr Pascale LaFountain and Dr Thomas Herold! Avelisse has won a full scholarship to attend the , offered to students enrolled in Hispanic Serving Institutions. Avelisse began taking German in Fall 2021 for her World Language Requirement! In addition, she has won a Sister-City full-year scholarship to study in Graz, Austria; teaches at a German Saturday school here in New Jersey; and aspires to becomes a teacher of German!
