Alli Kodila (German and Linguistics, 2024) has won a prestigious Fulbright Austria United States Teaching Assistantship (USTA) for the 2024-2025 academic year. Alli will receive a monthly stipend and teach English near the city of Graz for 12 hours per week while continuing to pursue her linguistics interests.<\/p>\n
As an undergraduate, Alli was an enthusiastic participant in Montclair\u2019s SPARK for German Lab<\/a> since it started in 2021, and she created a German learning comic book for children while she was on Montclair\u2019s full-ride year-long Graz Sister-City Scholarship<\/a>.<\/p>\n Alli was equally invested in her German and Linguistics studies and as a senior got to present her research on the contemporary Berlin \u201cKiezdeutsch\u201d dialect in recent media at the Lycoming College Undergraduate Humanities Research Conference<\/a>.<\/p>\n
