The\u00a0Pre-licensure MSN<\/a><\/u> is designed to meet the needs of graduates of baccalaureate degree programs in non-nursing fields. This innovative, 18-month program prepares successful graduates to take the RN licensure exam.<\/p>\n \u201cWe value the unique perspective these students bring to nursing. Building on their existing skills and knowledge, we are committed to preparing them to become licensed registered nurses with advanced knowledge in Care Coordination and Transition Management. We understand the needs of adult learners as they transition to a new career, and are excited to be part of their journey to becoming licensed registered nurses,\u201d says Janice Smolowitz, Dean, School of Nursing.<\/p>\n The first student cohort will start in fall 2020. Applications are now open<\/a><\/a>\u00a0and will be reviewed on a rolling basis for fall admission. The $60 application fee is waived for the inaugural cohort.
