{"id":223106,"date":"2024-02-07T11:21:16","date_gmt":"2024-02-07T16:21:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/newscenter\/?p=223106"},"modified":"2024-02-19T09:04:59","modified_gmt":"2024-02-19T14:04:59","slug":"2024-college-rankings-u-s-news-world-report-ranks-online-graduate-programs-among-nations-best","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/newscenter\/2024\/02\/07\/2024-college-rankings-u-s-news-world-report-ranks-online-graduate-programs-among-nations-best\/","title":{"rendered":"2024 College Rankings: U.S. News &amp; World Report Ranks Online Graduate Programs Among Nation\u2019s Best"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>U.S. News &amp; World Report<\/em> has released its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usnews.com\/education\/online-education\/articles\/us-news-ranks-best-online-programs\">Best Online Programs<\/a> survey for 2024 and once again, ÌÇÐÄvlog\u2019s offerings rank among the best in the nation.<\/p>\n<p>The five University programs that participate in the survey include the master\u2019s in Business Administration (MBA), master\u2019s in Education, master\u2019s in Information Technology, master\u2019s in Business and master\u2019s in Nursing.<\/p>\n<h2>Highlights from the 2024 Best Online Programs Rankings:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Montclair\u2019s online <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/online\/graduate-degrees\/educational-leadership-ma\/?wp_logged_in=true\">Master of Arts in Educational Leadership<\/a> program is ranked No. 15 in the nation and No. 1 in New Jersey. The education programs survey also ranked certain specialty areas, including Educational Administration and Supervision, in which the University also ranked at No. 15.<\/li>\n<li>Montclair\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/onlinemba.montclair.edu\">online MBA program<\/a> ranked at No. 74 in the nation, up 11 spots from 2023, and ranked second in the state. The <a href=\"https:\/\/onlinemba.montclair.edu\/ms-business-analytics\/\">Master of Science in Business Analytics<\/a> program ranked at No. 71 in the nation.<\/li>\n<li>The University\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/online\/graduate-degrees\/information-technology-ms-psm\/?wp_logged_in=true\">Master of Science in Information Technology<\/a> with a concentration in Applied Information Technology (Professional Science Master\u2019s) is ranked No. 47, the highest ranking the program has received since participating in the survey.<\/li>\n<li>In its second appearance in the rankings, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/nursing\/master-of-science-in-nursing\/?wp_logged_in=true&amp;utm_source=web&amp;utm_medium=newsitem&amp;utm_campaign=online18\">University\u2019s Master of Science in Nursing<\/a> (MSN) program, launched in 2018, had a substantial increase, improving nearly 50 spots to No. 77 and is tied for second in New Jersey.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>U.S. News &amp; World Report<\/em> program rankings are based on scores from five categories \u2013 student engagement, services and technologies, student excellence, faculty credentials and training, and opinions of academic experts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur mission is to ensure students across disciplines can have access to affordable, high-quality educational options that meet them where they are,\u201d says Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Junius Gonzales. \u201cThis latest recognition by U.S. News &amp;
