It\u2019s more secure, more reliable and just plain simpler.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Make the Switch to Duo Push<\/h2>\n<p><em><strong>Already using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/information-technology\/security\/duo-mfa\/\">Duo Push<\/a>? Nice \u2013 you\u2019re all set!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If not, keep an eye on your inbox. On <\/span><strong>Tuesday, August 12, 2025<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, you should have received an email from Duo Security with a link to get started. Just follow the steps on your phone or tablet to finish setup.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Once you\u2019re set up, you\u2019ll still get a login code \u2013 but now it\u2019ll show up instantly in the app. No waiting, no missed calls, no weak links.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Why the push for Push?<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">SMS and phone calls can be intercepted or spoofed. The <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/information-technology\/security\/duo-mfa\/\">Duo Mobile<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> app is way more secure and works even when your signal is spotty (perfect for travel, too.)
