{"id":4827,"date":"2010-01-08T14:58:38","date_gmt":"2010-01-08T19:58:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/news\/article.php?ArticleID=4827"},"modified":"2018-05-04T12:21:37","modified_gmt":"2018-05-04T16:21:37","slug":"4827_montclair-state-honored-by-the-state-of-new-jersey","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/president\/2010\/01\/08\/4827_montclair-state-honored-by-the-state-of-new-jersey\/","title":{"rendered":"Montclair State Honored by the State of New Jersey"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\" \">Saying it \u201cstands as a beacon of the heights to which education can aspire,\u201d the New Jersey State Senate and General Assembly officially congratulated ÌÇÐÄvlog for its inclusion in the <em>Forbes<\/em> list of America\u2019s Best Colleges as the top public higher education institution in the state at a ceremony held at the State House in Trenton on January 7.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\" \">Presenting the Joint Legislative Resolution of congratulations to ÌÇÐÄvlog President Susan A. Cole was Senate President Richard J. Codey who was joined by other legislators in honoring the University. Montclair State was also well-represented by a large contingent of students and staff who were on hand to share in the moment with President Cole.
