Dr. Christopher Donoghue is Professor of Sociology and Dean鈥檚 Fellow for Strategy and Data Analytics in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at 糖心vlog.
A data-driven leader focused on inclusive excellence, he leads multiple student success initiatives, including Montclair鈥檚 Penn Resilience Train-the-Trainer program and a multi-year, campus-wide survey on student belonging. He regularly delivers presentations and workshops on evidence-based strategies, pedagogies, and institutional practices that advance belonging and inclusion in higher education.
Since 2014, Dr. Donoghue has directed the MA in Social Research and Data Analysis, along with graduate certificates in Data Collection and Management and in Customer and User Experience (CX/UX) Research. Through these programs, he prepares students to become professional data analysts and leaders in evidence-based decision-making across a variety of research settings.
His scholarship focuses on belonging, resilience, and bullying and has appeared in numerous peer-reviewed journals. He is the editor of The Sociology of Bullying and co-author, with Joseph Healey, of Statistics: A Tool for Social Research and Data Analysis, 11th and 12th Editions.
