Profile

Driscoll serves as Head of Artistic Operations/Opera and Assistant Teaching Professor of Voice at the John J. Cali School of Music. In this capacity, she teaches Applied Voice Lessons across undergraduate, master鈥檚, and artist diploma levels, as well as Graduate Practicum, Chamber Opera, and the spring Opera Workshop. Her pedagogical approach integrates rigorous technical training with practical performance experience, preparing students for the professional operatic stage.

At the Cali School of Music, Driscoll has directed numerous fully staged operas and scenes programs within the Opera Workshop, in addition to overseeing role preparation productions such as La Traviata, Sweeney Todd, and La Boh猫me. Her work emphasizes collaborative artistry and dramatic authenticity, fostering an environment in which emerging singers develop both vocal excellence and interpretive depth. She has also been an active collaborator with the school鈥檚 choral ensembles, appearing as a soprano soloist with the MSU Singers and Chorale, and serving as director of Considering Matthew Shepard.

An accomplished soprano, Driscoll has performed leading roles with a wide range of prominent opera companies, including Seattle Opera, Florida Grand Opera, Florentine Opera, L鈥橭p茅ra de Montr茅al, Vancouver Opera, Virginia Opera, Baltimore Opera, Lyric Opera of Kansas City, National Lyric Opera, Michigan Opera Theatre, Opera Columbus, Toledo Opera, Opera Carolina, Hawaii Opera Theater, New Jersey State Opera, Palm Beach Opera, Long Beach Opera, and the Worcester Chorus and Masterwork Chorus. Her extensive performance career informs her teaching, providing students with insight into the demands and expectations of the professional field.

A native of Ohio, Driscoll began her formal music studies at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, where she earned both a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance.
