They also serve to highlight the green building initiatives of the USGBC New Jersey community.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.usgbc.org\/leed\" target=\"_blank\">LEED<\/a>-certified buildings are critical to addressing climate change and meeting\u00a0<a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.usgbc.org\/about\/priorities\/esg\" target=\"_blank\">ESG<\/a>\u00a0goals, enhancing\u00a0<a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.usgbc.org\/about\/priorities\/resilience\" target=\"_blank\">resilience<\/a>\u00a0and supporting more\u00a0<a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.usgbc.org\/about\/priorities\/equity\" target=\"_blank\">equitable<\/a>\u00a0communities. LEED is a holistic system that doesn\u2019t simply focus on one building element, such as energy, water or health.
