Chris King, assistant professor in the Psychology Department, has co-authored a new book, Evaluating Juvenile Transfer and Disposition: Law, Science, and Practice<\/em><\/a>, published by Routledge as part of the International Perspectives on Forensic Mental Health series.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The book, written with Kirk Heilbrun, David DeMatteo, and Sarah Filone, synthesizes behavioral science, law, and policy scholarship concerning critical aspects of youth justice and rehabilitation.<\/p>\n King’s primary research and clinical interests are adult and juvenile clinical-forensic psychology, correctional psychology, and mental health law. His recent publications include an empirical evaluation of the use of portable technology in correctional settings, and a review of state laws regulating the processing of justice-involved youths.
