In accordance with\u00a0<a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nsf.gov\/pubs\/issuances\/in147.jsp\" target=\"_blank\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.nsf.gov\/pubs\/issuances\/in147.jsp&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1648315390770000&amp;usg=AOvVaw1xXIwG9yBB9Sf27fJOYNI1\">Important Notice No. 147<\/a>, many National Science Foundation (NSF) program solicitations now require the use of Research.gov for the preparation and submission of proposals.<em> Please be advised that NSF will now start requiring the use of Research.gov for the preparation and submission of proposals in response to program descriptions.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>FastLane is targeted to be removed as a submission option from all funding opportunities when the Proposal and Award Policies and Procedures Guide (PAPPG) goes into effect in January 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For more information, please refer to the NSF document, &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.research.gov\/common\/attachment\/Desktop\/PD_RGOV.pdf\">Program Descriptions that Require Proposal Preparation and Submission in Research.gov or Grants.gov.<\/a>&#8220;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With the rollout of Research.gov in recent years, the National Science Foundation has warned the research community of removing FastLane as their primary end-to-end proposal and award management system.
